Prayers for President Biden

Let us pray for the President of the United States, that his government would be according to justice, equity, wisdom, and righteousness according to the Word of the Lord.

Pray for the conversion of the President to Christ, that he would rule over this nation as one who will give account to God, truly and sincerely professing his allegiance to Him. (Psalm 2.10-12)
Pray that the President and all those downstream from him, would be exposed to the Word of God in their official capacities and brought to a position where they recognize that they will give an account to God for their official labors. Pray that they would recognized their positions as ministers of God for good, that they would promote the good according to God’s Word, and discourage and punish evil, again, as ministers of God for good. (Romans 13.1-8)
Pray that the President would put an end to the evil policies of our government: Abortion, indebtedness, profuse and wasteful spending, encouraging slothfullness, sinful, illegal, and excessive use of authority and force, theft, excessive taxation, inflation of currency, annexation of property, and many other oppressive ways in which have incurred the displeasure of God. (2 Sam. 23.3)
Pray for repentance among our leaders for trusting in anything but the Triune God of Scripture, and thus committing idolatry by trusting in military might, economic and personal power, nature-worship, will-worship, false religions, superstitions, and any other thing by which the God of Scripture is replaced. (Habakkuk 1.12-17)
