Let us pray for the Governor of Colorado, Mr. Jared Polis, that he would successfully take part of leading this state according to justice, equity, wisdom, and righteousness as commanded in the Word of the Lord. 

1. Pray for the conversion of Governor Polis, that he would rule over the state of Colorado as one who will give account to God, truly and sincerely professing his allegiance to Him. (Psalm 2.10-12)
2. Pray that the Governor and all those downstream from him, would recognize their positions as ministers of God for good, that they would promote the good according to God’s Word, and discourage and punish evil, again, as ministers of God for good. (Romans 13.1-6)
3. Pray for wisdom for the Governor that he would execute a godly civil magistracy in the state of Colorado and that he would take note of the deleterious effects that fornication, adultery, and unchastity have upon a society, that he might seek and receive godly counsel from ministers of the Gospel and other citizens, such that there might be civil discouragement of divorce, penalties for fornication and adultery, and the promotion of Biblical chastity. (Job 31.9-11)
4. Pray that the Governor would enjoy success in his endeavors to do good for the state of Colorado, according to the standard of morality set forth in the Scripture. (Deuteronomy 17.14-17)
5. Pray that Governor Polis might be instrumental in or, at least not impede, a true, spiritual revival to the people of the state of Colorado, such that there would be, among the visible Church, repentance, calling upon the Lord, repentance from dead works, turning from idols, a removal of the carnal status quo and a fresh wind of the Spirit of God blown over the visible Church – should the Lord be pleased to so grant. (Psalm 85.1-13)
